Making a simple stencil

A shopping trip with a young teenager in Melbourne led to a stencil making workshop for pressies for Mum.  A lot of cooking goes on in this house and mum is a bit of a punk. Bunnings supplied us with white house paint sample for around $6 and a cardboard box was the stencil.  Not too thick so it lies nice and flat but not too thin that it warps and allows the paint to bleed.  Sponge the paint onto the apron inside a simple design. Any floating parts of the design are best anchored to the outside shape with a couple of joinery strips that you don’t cut out.
